Another day When rain influenced my life

Well so it seems that rain has finally decided to chalenge the life out of Mumbaikars... Today there was supposed to b a seminar by Nilesh (oh he is straight GOd) and sujit... and i was ansiously waiting to attend it since the last two weeks...slept only 5 hrs just in order to make sure i dont miss on it..... but the dear rains spoiled it all....But still there was another experince worth noting down.. me and rathi coming back from Ruia TO hostel walking under the (harsh) rains. Well we were litreally walking in the middle of the matunga road, it was a beautiful scene.. no cars only Rain pouring.. ..at times it got so much that rathi could not see what was ahead(without his spects ofcourse)... got partially wet (luckily with the help of tht leaking umbrealla). ..but stil i feel bad that the seminar had not taken place..

But the rain and flood thing have started geting on to my nerve....I feel Drizy... sometime feel like vomiting on food, sometimes feel that i wil get loose motions... have seen enough of garbage in a week... now i m fed of it all... Feel like going home... wish i was there now.....Oh god!!!! wht a calamity.......

one of the most memorable day of my life

well this day is 26th Jully 2005 when mumbai recieved its highest rainfall in history (around 949 mm)and the eigth highest rainfall in the history of India (means since the time in history v have records of rainfall).... the day marked huge loses (running in some thousand crores) to Mumbai and india but here is my version of the day.
Wel the day started perfectly well but in the afternoon in started raining cats and dogs(though coz of the rainfal the cats and dogs in the campus were no where to be seen). I was in the lab at that time and our prof (not worth giving that name to him) dint had any good idea of what to do that day so he jus asked everybody to complete their earlier works. So, almost everybody left the lab after doing a lil tp except for my grp(me, ganesh and goli) and Shalu's group... and then it was a scene of lifetime.. In the textile lab with all windows(which are inturn bigger that me in every aspect) open and scene of rain falling outside....

after completing the lab i got into the spirit of rain and came walking under the rain, without any raincoat, from coll to munna in full rain. man it wasan amazing xperience. In munna had amazing hot coffee and samosa's and brought some for the fellows in the hostel. then i saw Banda outside in the rain and just could not stop the temptation of going out in my shorts and here i was in the ground ( which had become a lake by now) with banda and bala.... can never forget tht moment of standing in the middle of the ground half drawned in water and under the full rains.

then came atri and both of us with shilpi went to Five garden thru the wadala four lane, shekufa. wow it was amazing and there (on four lane) i saw a steven speilberg scene on ppl walking under their umbrella in opposite direction on the road which had by now had also become lake. then sat at five garden discusing useless issues but having fun.. and then went to have hot Bhutta under the rains... man this was a day of lifetime.... there were so many things happening at the same time......
